1854 - H. Füllner founds a workshop which manufactures elements for paper machines. Soon Füllner’s workshop becomes a respected supplier of paper machines.


1946 - Paper Machinery Works “FAMPA” is established, as the only one paper machinery producer in Poland, which succeeds in upholding the traditions of its predecessors.


1964 - FAMPA becomes a licensee of Beloit Walmsley; the beginning of a fruitful and constant cooperation with a paper market leader.

February 1991 - Beloit buys 80% of FAMPA’s shares; the Polish entity is renamed Beloit Poland and is incorporated into the Beloit Group.

September 1994 - the activity of Beloit Poland is extended with the start up of the service centre called Beloit Fast Service located at Frantschach ¦wiecie Paper Mill.


1996/97 - Beloit Poland becomes the Centre of Excellence for Beloit Corporation for manufacturing of complete Tissue Machines, Hydraulic Headboxes with Consistency Profiling and modern Reels including the Beloit TNT.

1997/98 - Beloit Poland becomes the main producer of complete Tissue Machines for the entire Beloit Corporation with capacity to produce 10 complete machines per year.

August 2000 - Beloit Poland and Beloit Fast Service are bought by Polish and American investors („Inwestycja 2000” - 51% of shares and ''Braaten Company Limited'' - 49% of shares).

September 2000 - changed the company name to PMPoland – Paper Machinery Producer.

Spring 2001 - PMP Group is established; three companies: PMPoland , PMPFastService and PMPKonmet form PMP Group.

Autumn 2001 - further development and expansion of the PMP Group with the addition of PMPAmericas Inc. and PMP Xibe Roll Covering.

March 2002 - Creation of Spencer Johnston GmbH – Manufacturing Center for Spreader Rolls.

September 2006 - Establishment of PMP Changzhou - a service center for the paper business in China.

November 2006 – implementation of the Knowledge Management System and creation new strategy at the selected markets – PMP 2012.

September 2007 - PMP sales two divisions in China: PMP Changzhou and PMP Xibe Roll Covering and closes cooperation with Spencer Johnston in Germany.

December 2007 – implementation of PMP University that allows to intellectual development of the company.

September 2008 - the opening of new facility in China – PMP IB (Changzhou) Machinery & Technology.
